The John Medeiros story is truly a testimony to the American Dream. European born, John Medeiros and his family immigrated to the United States when he was just a child. In efforts to help support the transition of moving to a new country, he began working part-time after school in the precious metals industry in Providence, RI. In his early twenties, his determination, hard work and courage lead him to responsible positions along side many leaders within the trade.

 

Despite reaching such a lofty post for his age, John Medeiros yearned to make his own mark in the jewelry industry.  In 1984 he founded his own company, Tahoe Jewelry, which provided the precious metals jewelry industry with difficult intricate polishing and stone setting services. 

 

John Medeiros then had a vision to produce a beautiful, high quality product that is both affordable and timeless. He decided to create a jewelry line using the craftsmanship that goes into fine jewelry. The sole difference being the premium alloy base, which is enveloped in a Rhodium and 14K Gold Plate. Thus, John Medeiros Jewelry Collections was conceived, making handcrafted jewelry affordable to many.
