Jewelry Design

Model Making

Master jewelrs design and construct jewelry prototypes.

Mold Making

Prototypes are duplicate in carefully engineered molds.

Casting

Highest quality lead free molten metal is poured into molds.

Casting

Raw pieces are removed from the molds as the jewelry begins to take form.

Casting

With great precision chains are placed within the molds.

Cleaning the jewelry

After casting, the jewelry is cleaned to remove any loose particles.

Polishing

The hallmark of each piece of John Medeiros is that it is hand-polished, the old fashioned way.

Preparing for plating

The jewelry is strung to a current conducing metal rack in preparation to the plating process.

Plating the jewelry

The jewelry is brought to our state-of-the-art plating facility to recive it's 14K gold and Rhodium plating.

Plating the Rhodium

With the proper voltage and piece temperature the Rhodium will cling to the premium metal alloy.

Plating Inspection

The plating is inspected to flaws and imperfections

Hand Painting

Stop off is applied to jewelry wich strips the unwanted gold. This creates a two tone affect.

Stone setting

Stones are prong set or hand glued to ensure long lasting quality.

Final Inspection

A final inspection is performed to check that all mechanisms are working.

Preparing the jewelry for shipment

The jewelry is now hand packed and prepared for it's retail destination.
