Customer Service / Online Sales
Basic Function: Responsible for supporting the company’s sales goals by providing prompt, courteous and responsive customer assistance to our online customers; displaying extensive knowledge of the product catalog; and demonstrating a sales-oriented approach in all customer service interactions. Prompt and courteous responses to phone and email messages. Assist the sales with telephone orders and processing and verification of shipments.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain good customer service relationships to achieve maximum sales.
- Apply knowledge of company products to efficiently process orders and customer information.
- Process orders accurately and contact customers to correct any discrepancies and/or suggest
- alternate or additional items.
- Look for sales opportunities within our return customer set/help implement loyalty or reward program.
- Assist with front desk administrative tasks.
- Assist with wholesale order taking and data management.
- Provide feedback on “best sellers” and other sales trends to insure timely replenishment of inventory.
- Follow through on orders shipped to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues on any outstanding items.
- Respond to inquiries and complaints utilizing the utmost tact and diplomacy with the goal of preserving good customer relations.
- Issue Return authorization and follow up, including contacting customers and maintaining files updated and organized. Analyze reasons and provide information to upper management.
- Maintain confidentiality of both customer and company information.
