  Our Story:

After coming to America at the age of nine, John Medeiros began his storied career in the jewelry district of Providence, RI, at 12, working on production lines after school. In 1985, he established Tahoe Jewelry, providing the jewelry industry and prominent designers like Gucci with intricate polishing and stone setting services. Influenced by the skilled and talented artisans of the Renaissance and a vision to produce the highest quality, affordable jewelry, he would sketch and conceptualize ideas at night. The vision became a reality with the launch of The John Medeiros Jewelry Collection in 2000. Today, The Collection is one of the few jewelry lines still produced from concept to completion in Rhode Island.

is based on the belief that stylish, high-quality jewelry should be accessible and enjoyed by all women. With hand-carved detailing, Mr. Medeiros implements the same craftsmanship and engineering techniques used in the high end, precious metals jewelry industry. In keeping with our artisanal roots, The Collection can be found in qualified, independent retail stores nationwide. John Medeiros is a jewelry expert like no other; his handmade designs are created with passion that results in perfection.

Each piece is handcrafted with:

  • Base Material: Non-precious lead-free premium alloy with .05% silver, which is strong and lightweight.
  • Overlay/Finish/ Electronic Plate: Rhodium and 14Kt Gold, a permanent non-tarnish, easy to care for finish. Rhodium, a derivative of platinum, has all the platinum attributes with the added benefit of being harder, lasting longer, and a whiter tone.
  • Stones: Our product stones are Cubic Zirconia. Even when diamonds' glitter is undeniably gorgeous, high-quality stones are expensive, and many women turn to Cubic Zirconia (also known as CZ) as an affordable substitute. An engagement ring, necklace, or pair of earrings designed with this synthetic stone can be just as beautiful as any natural diamond, but human-made Cubic Zirconia will not chip, crack, cloud, or fade. Cubic Zirconia is virtually indistinguishable to the eye by diamond experts, can scratch glass like natural diamonds, and is tougher than a sapphire.
  • Earring Posts: Surgical steel, which is ideal for sensitive ears prone to infection or allergies.

Why Every Story Matters

Every individual has a story, and these narratives shape our identity. A story can reflect our experiences, dreams, and challenges. It's crucial to recognize that storytelling holds immense power. However, sharing one's experiences can be daunting, making some shy away. So, embracing your unique story becomes essential because it fosters connections and understanding with others.

Sharing Your Story

When we share our stories, we create bonds and inspire others. But how do we begin this process? One way is to reflect on your experiences. Think about significant moments in your life that influenced who you are today. This not only helps to clarify your message but also builds confidence in sharing it with others.

The Impact of Storytelling

Storytelling has the power to change perspectives. Because personal stories resonate with people, they can evoke emotions and provoke thoughts. When we tell our stories, we often find common ground with others. This connection is vital for building empathy and understanding in our communities. Therefore, don’t underestimate the importance of your narrative; it can leave a lasting impact.
